Rugby’s Golf Club was started 18 months ago with the aim of putting on quality golf days and raising funds for Help 4 Heroes. Our success has been such that on April 29th we open a brand new golf facility at Tedworth House Wilts which is one of 4 H4H rehabilitation centres in the UK. With the assistance from Huxley’s Golf , the leading synthetic golf surface in the UK we will be opening a 9 hole putting green with chipping surround, 2 full size golf practice bays and a golf pavilion.
This facility will not only give an opportunity for the injured service people to use at their leisure but also for visiting families as it is quite simply a sporting facility for all ages. With the support of partners Masters Golf and others including Torro, Kukri and Ping Golf, we will be providing similar golfing facilities at 3 other Help 4 Heroes rehabilitation centres at Colchester, Catterick and Plymouth in the next 4 years.
